Data Center:
In our keycard protected NOC we have seasoned sys op's running the show. When it comes to the reliability of the machine your site is housed on, you can always count on a1hostco.com to deliver. The NOC has redundant cooling systems and a powerful back-up generator with enough juice to run our entire system at full power for three days. We are directly connected to one of the largest and most fault tolerant networks in the region, composed of a full mesh of OC3 (155 Megabit) and OC12 (622 Megabit) links throughout the area.

Servers:
Our servers are the latest real world tested PIV 2.4 Ghz with 800 MHz FSB or better. Each machine has a minimum of 256 MB of ram and at least a 40 GB HD. We will never over fill a server with too many web sites. If a machine is showing signs of slowing down in the least, we will upgrade the machine or move the system hog off of that machine.

Operating Systems:
Most of our servers run Unix with a customized version of Red Hat. Our virtual servers are set up with Unix because of it's stability and ease of use. Be it Linux, or Free BSD, we'll put you in the correct machine for your needs.
